ok we're now in week 12 of our school life.
in week 16, we have to hand up a flash website with a movie trailer done and also the symphony animation.
ok so for the animation, we're doing still images 'cause a full scale animation would cost us our lives.
in total, we'll need around 20 images? or maybe even until 30...drawing one picture would require around 1 day, coloring would need 1-2 days. therefore in a week we can only get 2 images done.

we only have 4 weeks to do it. on top of it all we still have to submit the damned flash website.

yup, just as the title said, this post is about jesse mccartney and rainbow roses.

jesse mccartney recently released a new R&B album, Departure. I'm not usually a fan of R&B, but since it's jesse, it can't be that bad. xD

True enough, the album is kinda alright. i'd rate it 3.5/5. Some of the songs are weird though, and the beats get somewhat boring. that's why i didn't like R&B in the first place - they get repetitive.

you don't ask me for my opinions and usually i'm just someone invisible, what i say don't mean a thing. you don't tell me things anymore. we could not talk for days but you don't seem to care, i'd bet you don't even notice. from time to time i feel like crying, but others would probably say i'm crazy, crying over something like this. Trivial? not to me. you go off without saying anything and expect me to find you, but even if i don't it doesn't matter to you. you neither answer my calls nor do you reply my messages. even at times when i ask you to wait you don't. you don't call me by my nickname anymore.

you don't read this blog, so i wonder why i'm even writing all these.

the local girls seriously are hopeless, neither can they dress decently nor can they even sit in a proper manner. shouldn't this be taught to them by their parents at a young age? everywhere i go i see girls wearing skirts, regardless of long or short, sitting with their legs open wide. even for those who wear shorts, it's obscene.

for some reason the current fashion here is to wear as little as possible - shorts, tank tops, slippers. saw this girl wearing 3/4 pants that helped reveal half her ass while walking, and a mini spaghetti-strap top that revealed her nice round tummy. i mean c'mon, you can see half her butt when she's standing up, what would you expect to see when she's sitting down or bending over?

what is wrong with the weather today. it's abnormally hot.

i wasn't really sweating a whole lot, but my body felt really sticky and uncomfortable and my skin felt like it was saffocating. normally the wind would feel refreshing but not today. the wind was warm(if there were any at all). i mean, i have a higher tolerance towards heat, but it felt really really hot even though i was wearing a sleeveless shirt!
sigh...i guess we can expect more of this excruciating heat. lol.

i don't know why, but looking at the cats around my block area always unconciously brings a smile to my face. it's like, i feel relieved to see them there, the usual ones. it makes me happy to know that they're still around. my mom always says that i care about cats more than humans, and sometimes i do feel that way too. well...cats and other animals don't have souls, so this is the only life they have. therefore i guess i wanna help them lead a good life? or at least, a safe one. and also because they can't think like humans can, i kinda feel sorry for them. not that they need it, but it's just that watching them go about their daily lifes and striving to survive, it makes me happy.

ok, i don't know what i'm saying, like it's all gibberish and i'm saying weird stuff...ARGH. please ignore my previous paragraph.

stayed in school with today syed, ss and jazz today to ~~slack~~ do our animation project. ran tagged along since he had an appointment ~~with a girl~~ at 6 for dinner.

the animation project is based on the original characters from the ds game "Dropcast".

the project requires us to choose any characters from the game and make a short flash animation of them.

we already had the storyline done, so just now each of us had to draw the storyboard for a scene (total 4 scenes) and i chose the first scene. although it wasn't the easiest, i found it kinda interesting as it required the drawing of weed, the ~~evil~~ hyperactive rabbit. the other 2 characters in the animation we chose are mumps the sadistic bear and tex, the bird-brain t-rex.

what's the story you ask?

err...well...one day weed visits mumps for a tea party and tex is also there. since mumps is emotionally sadistic and unstable, after drinking his favourite chamomile tea he falls into depression (LOL). weed then uses a scissors to cut open mumps' belly, head and legs. of course, we made it so that the audience doesn't know ~~although it's kinda obvious~~.

so anyway, tex was blamed for the incident and weed walks home, victorious and laughing insanely.

great story eh? :x

realize that nowadays singaporeans are wasting a lot of our earth's precious resources, like taking paper and food for granted, etc. reminds me of when some of my friends and i went to mcdonalds for dinner and one of them took a big stack of serviettes and started to waste them. i didn't approve of it but i hated myself for not stopping them. went home to hear my mom talking about this group of aunties in the mall's toilet wasting water. they were letting the tap flow while washing their hands and stopping to chat with each other. my mom was rather upset about how singaporeans treat the earth.

i think we've been living in peace too long to appreciate nature around us and of course, what God has given us. even if people do not know of God, isn't it common sense to not waste our earth's resources?

our earth is dying, not slowly but rapidly.

also recently, the cyclone in myanmar and the earthquake in china.

i'm not trying to be sadistic, cold-hearted or bias here, but i feel that maybe God is punishing them. in myanmar, they worship idols of all sorts, and they probably didn't have God in their hearts at all. and in china...i think they're the worst kind of people around. they eat all kinds of animals, even those that are not meant to be eaten, in disgusting and cruel ways. i'm sure you know how they eat monkey brains..

when US tried to send aids over to myanmar, they were stopped by the army. heard that there's this law that enables other countries to "force their way in to aid" if the country in need is in a critical situation. however, russia and china have protested, saying that US should respect the rights of the myanmar army and shouldn't go in without permission.

so i wasn't feeling all that bad when i heard about the earthquake, was feeling neutral although i replied "lol" to benson's message. this disaster also got me thinking about lots of stuff. retribution, perhaps? it's about time they had some kind of punishment, singapore too, so that we may learn how to be responsible for what we do.

really, we shouldn't waste paper as if they drop from the skies, or waste food just because we found some bugs in them. bugs are disgusting, truly, but they can't kill us just because they're in our food. we shouldn't waste water thinking that because the sea is so vast, we don't have anything to lose.

please save the earth, she's already retaliating.

so many projects to do, ~~so little time~~ and i think i'm slacking too much. i can't get anything to motivate me, seriously. nothing at all. -.-
oh no.

i think i've gained weight recently due to school, because when you have to go to school, you tend to get hungry more easily. and at school there's nothing but fatty food. lol
fish and chips, chicken chop, carbonara and chicken spaghetti, these 4 probably cover my daily meals at school.
and also not to forget the snacks - hashbrowns, chicken seaweed, crispy chicken and nuggets.
all this talk about food is making me hungry now.
i'm always hungry at night, damnit.

planning to buy a wacom tablet that costs 299 bucks, or maybe i could get the smaller one for 150. but its really small, a6 size i think. o well...

tomorrow jonathan's gonna treat us to pizza during apel, so good for us. i don't really like him thought...i get the feeling that he's trying too hard to let us slack off and to be an ideal teacher. an ideal teacher technically means to be a slacker teacher. he likes to cancel apel, sometimes last minute and likes to tell us things like, "i don't care whether you do well or not, i only want you to put in your best..."
not that its not good, but i think he's just being...fakely too nice. haha fakely, is there even such a word.
phrases like, "i'm not gonna force you but..." or "it doesn't really matter that..", they just sound totally fake (to me).
just a personal opinion though, but i guess most people love him.

noooooooooooooooooooooo!~ my laptop has been infected with malware alarm. T.T now both my ie and firefox isn't working, so i have to stick with safari. if i open my ie, pop-ups that tell me my system has spyware keeps coming up and it also causes blank windows to open. and my whole laptop is lagging badly. =(
searching high and low for spyware removal softwares that can detect and remove infected files for free, but currently still unsuccessful.
i don't want to reformat the system!

parents often say that we don't listen to them and that we always think that we're right. however, if you think about it, doesn't it apply to them also? it's because they too, think that they're right, that's why we're always quarreling. so actually, they don't really have the right to say that to us.
well, this is my personal thought only though...i feel that parents always scold and nag at us but when we turn around and tell them their faults they either brush us off or start yelling at us for being rude.

june trip to japan cancelled! biggest disappointment of the year man. -.-" now they have plans to visit hong kong, but it's also not 100%. if this continues, i doubt i'll even be going anywhere, cos the hotels are probably getting fully booked soon.
but the japan trip in december is prolly 70% confirmed? oh man...

lessons are getting more boring as the days go by because 3d animation and flash animation isn't exactly what i'm interested in.

ever since daniel told me his dream (future), i've been thinking about my own. at the time when we were talking about it, the only answer i could give him was, "i don't really know what i wanna do in the future.".
so i've been thinking about it, and i guess i wanna ~~marry a cute japanese boy, migrate to japan and live there happily every after~~ be a hairstylist. i don't know when i started liking "hair design", but recently i found myself buying more of the hair magazines. i think it's pretty amazing how a person can make anyone look good by just a few snips of the scissors. i guess i wanna become someone who is able to make others smile (by styling their hair).
not a very big dream huh? but i like it. (:

school has been alright so far, with boring lessons and the much missed not-so-good food. not so much of web designing this semester, but more of multimedia-based stuff like 3d models and video editing. hopefully i'll be able to pass, especially dbis although heard from bear and the rest that it's not that difficult.

i've been sleeping so much during the holidays that i can't seem to wake up on time now for school.
holidays: 3~4am - 12~1pm *LOL*
now: 12~1am - 7~8am

3 hours difference...oh man.
i need more sleep!! @@
don't tell me to sleep earlier, cos it never works. if it's too early then i can't get to sleep.

it's probably my favorite piece off the FF X-2 piano collection album and the soundtrack, although the original song doesn't sound exactly like the piano version, being far shorter and more ethereal.
anyway, i'm so addicted to the piano version and i simply love the part between around 4.05~4.53 where the piano goes ~~crazy~~ a bit wilder and the melody is more intense. it's really, really amazing.
i wish i could play the piano like that, but damn, it's probably never gonna happen. -.-

4 different parts for the different sections of the choir: alto, bass, tenor and soprano.
amazing song(much more amazing than ff music, duh!), the way the different voices and parts harmonize together is really indescribable.
the lyrics are also very meaningful, focusing on God's love, how it affects us and how we should love God.
really, if God didn't love us, His people, where would we be? if God didn't love us, there would be no gospel, no salvation, no Christianity.

so ultimately, all i can say is,
I LOVE MUSIC!

went to school today for the pre-sem briefing and realized that it was a total waste of time. everything was the same as our year 1 briefing. -.-
but nevermind, it was good to see my friends again(although school starts on monday anwyay).

our new timetable is gay.
school starts at 9 for mondays, tuesdays, wednesdays and fridays and ends at 6 for the first 3 days of the week. mondays are the worst - 9-12pm, break for an hour and 6 hours of straight lessons from 1-6pm.
is the school trying to kill us?

watched the forbidden kingdom after school just now with selig, ben and ss. all i can say about it is, great show.
really humorous and the fighting scenes are awesome. selig likes the girl(sparrow), but i don't think she's at all pretty. she has a typical cheena face. -.-
selig i really can't understand your taste man. lol.

and jet li looks funny, and it was kinda gross when he lol-ed. :x

imma final fantasy fanatic

i can't go to malaysia tomorrow after all, my dad's in a foul mood ever since he came back from work. but then again, when is his mood ever bright?

downloaded a couple of final fantasy piano collection albums and i'm totally lovin' them, especially those from final fantasy x-2. however, i do miss nobuo uematsu's works, since the newer games of the final fantasy series have different music composers. two of his most amazing works, in my opinion, are the soundtracks from final fantasy 7 and 8. the music might be more simple, but i feel that they bring out the whole atmosphere and feel more clearly.

other than the soundtracks, i've also found some sheet music for the songs. although the difficulty level isn't very hard, it might still be a little hard for me to play them all since the last time i touched my piano was about a year ago.
i'd quit my piano lessons at the beginning of my secondary 4 school year because firstly i wanted to focus on the O levels, and secondly, i really hated piano lessons. i dreaded every saturday because of it.

i mean, come on. how can lessons ever be nice? especially when you're required to play the same pieces over and over again in preperation for the exams. it's boring and it kinda made me hated the piano. i just wanted to be able to play song pieces that i like and not all those boring examination pieces.
so one might say, "how are you gonna be able to play other piano pieces if you can't even go for lessons? that way you can't improve!". or at least, my father said that.
i can though, a bit. -.-
well, maybe piano just isn't the thing for me.

new layout...again

the layout's finally working.
this is the only layout which i've spent my entire day on! the codes were literally killing me, but thankfully everything worked out fine. however, the colors are kinda dull aren't they? especially the background color, grey and moody.
argh whatever man, i'm too lazy to go change it again. (:

the previous layout was seriously crap. it was really rushed cos i was just trying to make a temp layout, so it's in my trash bin now. xD

so here's the plan for this week;

today - ~~rot~~ slack at home again
thursday - maybe going to malaysia, if i can get my parents' permission
friday - pre-sem briefing at 2pm in school, movie after that. most probably watching the forbidden kingdoms. wonder why can't the briefing be earlier; it's taking away the whole afternoon!
saturday - hmm...dota with aaron in the afternoon? cellgroup at church, C171 bbq at night. hope i'll be able to get there in time.
sunday - worship! :D
monday - ..............school..............what a drag...

the unchanging school schedule drags on until sometime in may when p tum comes! :D
really really hope that he'll 100% come! can't wait to see him. (:

singing class

having a headache right now possibly due to the lack of sleep, really it's my fault because i stayed up till around 2am watching anime. :x

my brother was supposed to attend church today but as expected, he had to go back to camp last minute. well its not really going back to camp, he just had to go do some stuff and then come home again. don't even know if it's really true or not, since it can't be so coincidental that 95% of the sundays he's not free right?

in case you haven't notice(which isn't possible), the new layout's up, featuring tamaki hiroshi, the oh-so-gorgeous chiaki-senpai from nodame cantabile. watch it if you haven't, it's one of the best dramas i've ever watched so far. the ending isn't too bad also. :D
it has a perfect balance of humour, romance, seriousness and of course, smexiness. :x
japan sure has her ways to satisfy us fangirls. ~.~

my family's gettin better now, at least i'm talking to my mom. lol.
my dad? well....i don't wanna talk about it, otherwise i'd be flaming him on my blog.
